WE'RE STILL ON TV AND SCREENING FOR ADOPTION GROUPS...

THE FIRST OF MAY continues to do good work across the country. I drove up to Atlanta, Georgia to show a copy of THE FIRST OF MAY to the national convention of the American Adoption Congress. Our film was wonderfully received, and leaders in their group told me we will appear on many email recommendation lists their organization sends out nationwide in future months.
Our HBO screenings continue in May, with THE FIRST OF MAY showing on HBO Family. The schedule appears below. Still waiting word on a home video deal.

HOW CAN WE MAKE MORE FILMS LIKE THE FIRST OF MAY...

It appears that due to an ungracious investor and the thievery of our foreign distributor in Los Angeles, those of us who invested great amounts of time, money and love to create THE FIRST OF MAY will not see any money from the film. What befell us happens to almost all well-meaning independent films, and it's why most quit or collapse after one film. We, too, could quit. But we see a need now more than ever for films like THE FIRST OF MAY, films that are life-affirming or thought-provoking. We have learned the hard way how to avoid the pitfalls of today's distribution cycle to create a pipeline of steady movie products to our
families and our children - and at the same time provide our investors with economic steadiness and success. We now have an innovative approach to film distribution, developed with one of the most respected names in distribution, to complement our filmmaking skills.

That's what Forevermore Films, our new company, is about. Forevermore Films is a vertically-integrated film company designed to produce films and deliver them to the marketplace through distribution means that combine certain traditional venues with unique and innovative paths to maximize our control and dispersion of product around the world. Our system is brand new, developed with the insight of one of the most successful family film distributors in history - a man who will be a part of Forevermore Films. We will revolutionize not just indie family films, but indie film distribution for the family market!

FOREVERMORE FILMS... MAKING MOVIES THAT MATTER...

Forevermore Films will be looking for partners who believe good films can make a difference in this world of ours - and wish to be an active part creating those movies that will succeed morally and economically. Look for the active launch of our company in the next four weeks - we'll let you know via email when our website is active and our business plan fully operational. It's an exciting time. Keep an eye on Forevermore Films.
